Lifecycle of Emotions

Ghana tha andhera, raah ni aa rahi thi nazar,

Ek nanha jugnu ban gaya saathi aur aasan ho gayi dagar ||

Tez hui aandhi, dhundhli hui nazar,

Barkha ne aankhon ko tohfa diya kuch boondo ka maano khuda ne kiya ho koi anmol asar ||

Shaam thi akeli, qalb bhi hua bekhabar,

Shajar par baaz sikha gaya k khud ka maullah ban, tu khud hi to hei apna sachha humsafar ||

Raat ne chooma sannate ko khyaal hote gaye bezaar,

Kya ye andhera kabhi pighlega khushi ki chaah ki tapish par?

Achanak kasak si uthi ek aawaz aayi,

Mere daro ka samadhan meri aatma mujhe sunai,

Andhera daraega par roshni ka mool sikha k jaega,

Aandhi sataegi, par mushkilo ka saamna karna bhi sikhaegi,

Ye Bezaar khyal aur akeli raatein hamesha yu hi nahi rahegi,

Yaad rakhna aae dost ki andhera jaise hi tootega ek nayi subah fir se khil uthegi||

The Way You Are

 Fierce like a tigress, clever like jaguar,

A stupid cute friend, thats what you are.

Kind like a monk, Savage like chaku ki dhaar,

A melodious noise, thats what you are.

Calm like the sea waves and bright like a shining star,

A roadway to smile, thats what you are.

Warm like a candle flame, bold like a cigar,

An ocean of compassion & genuity, thats what you are.

True like a friend, addictive like a scar,

You are amazing, just the way you are....

70 Up! Me My Mom

 

तीन उँगलियों से लिखने जा रहा हूँ तीसरी पीढ़ी की कहानी,

उस शक्सियत की है सुनानी जो है २ बच्चों की माँ और तीन की दादी नानी,

कभी ना मानती है हार, हिम्मत से करती है face हर परेशानी,

अपनी इच्छाओं को हरा कर भी ये हमेशा यही कहती कि घर की खुशियां है जीतन।

 

हमारी पढाई का रखा आपने पूरा ध्यान,

Play Group से 12th तक आप एक ही teacher थे जिसने दिया हमे हर subject का ज्ञान,

School मे teachers चाहे जितने भी मिले हो महान,

आपसे better कोई नहीं माँ जो बना दे किसी भी problem को आसान।

 

Advisor भी mentor भी, हमारी हर problem को solve आप कर देते,

हमारी हर परेशानी को हस्सी मे बदल देते पर कभी कोई फीस नहीं लेते,

School , Colony मे लोग तो कई थे जिनके साथ chit - chat हम करते,

पर अपने best friends की list मे सबसे पहले आप ही का नाम भरते।

 

घर, नौकरी, परिवार सबको बखूबी आप करती manage ,

All - rounder हो आप, घर मे सब ही की मुस्कान का हो carriage ,

सब कुछ कर क भी कभी credit नहीं लिया किसी काम का,

माँ, पत्नी, बुआ, मामी हमेशा ख्याल रखती हो सब क जज़्बात का।

 

 

 

 

 

 

आज आपको इस जहां मे आये सात दशक हो गए,

जाने कितने नए किस्से बने और कितने पुराने हो गए,

बस इतना ही मानते है हम सब आपके लिए माँ,

सिर्फ ख़ुशी और हस्सी आये अब आपके हिस्से, जैसे सब गम, दुःख, दर्द सो गए।

 

यूँ कहने को शब्द है अनगिनत और लिखने को कितने भी पैन है काम,

जीवन के हर मोड़ पर आपके साथ है हम,

We may never be able to express the feelings for you in words how much ever we say ,

All we want to say today is that WISH YOU A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!

70 Up! Super Human.... SuperDad

अपने पापा से आपको मिलवाता हूँ आज,

ध्यान से सुनिए खुलने वाला है राज़,

Positivity को इन्होने अपनाया और fear को रखते है out,

शांत रहना है इनकी humbleness, intellegence को मत करना doubt।

 

बचपन से ही संभाली थी परिवार की ज़िम्मेदारी,

भीड़ के धक्को और लोगो के तानो से सीखी होशियारी,

ना मनाया कभी अपना birthday ना खाई कभी hotel मे दावत,

हालात ने बहुत जल्दी सीखा दी सारे चेहरों की बनावट।

 

एक समय ऐसा था जब जेब मे पैसे नहीं थे,

आँखों में सपने हज़ारो थे पर हालात बाकी सब के जैसे नहीं थे,

ना जिया बचपन ठीक से ना मिली हिस्से की पूरी हंसी,

बिना बाप के साये के मुश्किल से संभाली zindagi.

 

पर इतनी कठिनाइयों में भी हिम्मत को कमज़ोर ना होने दिया,

खुद को भी संभाला और बेहेन भैय्या को भी ना रोने दिया,

पढ़ा भी पढ़ाया भी, ट्यूशन और बिज़नेस कर मेहनत से पैसे कमाया भी,

Fighter है आप, अपनी किस्मत को कभी सोने ना दिया.

 

आगे बढ़ने से पहले लेते है एक छोटा सा विराम,

ये picture का अंत नहीं पर यहाँ जीवन मे जुड़ गया एक नया आयाम,

1981 में विवाह के सूत्र में बांध गए माँ के साथ,

और अगले कुछ सालों में प्रकट हुए दो नन्हे मुन्ने शिशुनाथ।

 

पति और पिता की हर ज़िम्मेदारी आपने बखूबी निभाई,

चाहे डाट के चाहे मार के हमेशा सही दिशा दिखाई,

भरपूर प्यार दिया परिवार के हर सदस्य को हर पल,

वक़्त पड़ने पर आप भगवन से भी हमे छीन लाये।

जीवन के हर मोड़ पर you gave us the best of everything,

कभी कोई कमी ना होने दी हमे, हमारी life के आप हो king ,

कोई नया काम करने में लगता है डर तो याद आता है आपका वो वचन,

की गलती कर के ही सीखता है champion।

 

यूँ लिखने को तो अनगिनत है शब्द और कितने भी पन्ने है कम,

जीवन क हर पल हर मोड़ में आपके साथ है हम,

You are not the best father but better than the rest in every way ,

Just wanted to say that wish You a very happy 70th birthday !!

                             Way To Happiness!

It came from far and went back in a flash,
It came back again & in my fist it crashed,
You don't need to own everything to be lucky,
Even the progressing waves of the sea can make you happy!

The sparrow chirped in my ear & away it flew,
The sound was same but the song was new,
Don't wait to meet new people until you become inventive,
How you decipher the same voices everytime is what makes you creative.

A sunny day it was but rain started to pour,
A gloomy day finally ended with a colorful rainbow @ four.
Don't lose hope when time is not right,
Remember- every dark lining is surrounded by light.

So when current status is not how you want it to be,
Sea waves and bird chirps are still there to make you happy.
At times, life can be really really silly,
But remember- Winning is not about doing different things, but doing things differently.

Life Cycle

Life told me its time to have fun,
I understood that I need not worry atleast until I turn a dozen.

Life told me its time to pursue passion,
I understood that theatre is my life and stage is my fashion.

Life told me its time to listen to heart,
I understood that I need to confess to the one who is becoming my life's inseparable part.

Life pushed me and growled that its time to move on,
I understood that its night time, I need to wait only until dawn.

Life told me that she can still be beautiful, not always a fight,
I understood that its very true, we just need to use the right sight.

Life is now telling me start running, the walk is over,
What I am understanding is that its time to minimize fun and start earning dollars!

Tum hi the.....

Tried writing a parody of 2013 bollywood hit "Tum hi ho".....

Original:
"तेरे लिए ही जिया मै, खुद जो यु दे दिया है,
तेरी वफ़ा ने मुझको संभाला, सारे गमो को दिल से निकला,
तेरे साथ मेरा है नसीब जुड़ा, तुझे पाके  अधूरा ना रहा.…
क्युकी तुम ही हो…"

Sad Version:

"हो के जुदा ना खुश रहा मै, तेरी यादों ने कर दिया है,

मेरे जीवन को बेसहारा, सूखी नदी का जैसे किनारा,

 तू ही ख्वाब था मेरा तू ही था सपना जुदा हो क अधूरा ही राह… 

क्युकी तुम ही थे.…"

Sail Sale

"All set, we are ready to sail", shouted the captain,
Some were calm as it was just the starting while others were getting insane.

Quarter way through, sail was smooth,
Sea was calm & passengers were cool.

Suddenly the sea got angry, huge tides started swinging the ship left & right,
Sail was already slow, this made situation all the more tight.

Few passengers were pacifying and helping others while were only finding an escape for themselves,
Once safe, the latter category would scream and shout as if teasing the rest.

"How far is the destination", the captain asked his crew,
The crew shouted back,"Long way to go captain, we are not even half way through".

Whats gonna happen now would be interesting to see,
Would some passengers be thrown to increase the speed of the ship or would nearest island be reached and let everyone be free.

Right now, I can see everybody praying for their lives,
All of them anxiously waiting for the sea to calm & ship to rise.

And though the captain is extremely talented and fantastic,
The dream of sailing round the world in 10 days was somewhat unrealistic

The One Someone

There lives someone in a far away land,
A cute idiot of whom I'm a big fan.

Though I meet hundred people in a day,
But there is someone for whom anytime, I can change my way.

Though I'm not able to take several calls while at work,
But there's someone I'll always talk to no matter I've to be working from dawn to dusk.

Though I may not be very well connected with everyone I know,
But there is someone I always feel near where ever I go.

And though I may keep writing like this as long as I want,
But there is someone on who is calling, so ending this right here with a full stop.
